1. Prices and invoicing
Prices are stated in Colombian pesos (COP) and indicate whether they include VAT or other taxes. The price of each service is the one in the accepted proposal. We issue an electronic sales invoice for every payment, under DIAN regulations.
2. When you pay
| Service | General rule |
|---|---|
| Projects (consulting, implementation, web and software development) | The advance stated in the proposal (usually 50%) to start, and the balance on delivery or by milestones. |
| Support hour blocks | 100% in advance. |
| Monthly fees (hosting, maintenance, service desk) | Per period, in advance. |
| Third-party licenses and services (Microsoft, domains, certificates) | 100% in advance, before purchase or activation. |
| Barona Contable and Barona POS | According to the plans and terms published on each product’s website. |
3. Payment methods and security
Payments are made only through the methods and to the accounts stated in the proposal or in Barona Enterprise’s official electronic invoice. We will never ask for card details, passwords or codes by WhatsApp, email or phone. If you receive different or suspicious payment instructions, do not pay and confirm first at info@baronaenterprise.com or +57 324 669 4053.
4. Late payment and suspension
If a payment is not received on the agreed date, we will notify you. Ten (10) calendar days after the notice, we may suspend recurring services or project work until payment is up to date and charge late-payment interest at the maximum legal rate certified by Colombia’s Financial Superintendence. Suspension never means withholding your information: you can always request it.
5. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer and contracted at a distance or through non-traditional channels, you may withdraw within five (5) business days after contracting (article 47 of Law 1480 of 2011), except in the cases excluded by law: services whose performance began with your agreement, personalized or custom-made services or goods (software development, websites, designs) and third-party licenses already activated. We refund the money within thirty (30) calendar days.
6. Cancellations and refunds
- Projects: if you cancel before work starts, we refund the advance minus only the costs already incurred and documented to you (for example, third-party licenses or services bought for the project). If you cancel after work starts, the work performed to date is paid, according to the progress record, and we hand over what was done.
- Support hour blocks: unless the proposal says otherwise, you may request a refund of the unused balance, minus the hours already recorded and the transaction’s financial costs.
- Monthly fees: you may cancel with the notice set in the proposal; a period already started is not refunded pro rata, unless the law provides otherwise.
- Third-party licenses: once purchased or activated, they follow the manufacturer’s return policies.
- Barona products: governed by the terms of Barona Contable and Barona POS.
7. Payment reversal
If you paid electronically (card, PSE or other) and were the victim of fraud, the transaction was not requested, the service was not provided or does not match what was contracted, you may request a payment reversal under article 51 of Law 1480 of 2011 and Decree 1074 of 2015: file your complaint with us within five (5) business days after learning of the transaction, and notify the payment instrument issuer.
8. How to request a refund
File your request through the PQRS channel stating the service, invoice and reason. We answer within fifteen (15) business days and, if approved, the refund is made by bank transfer to an account in the payer’s name within thirty (30) calendar days of approval.
This policy complements the terms and conditions. Version 2026.10, effective as of October 7, 2026. The Spanish version prevails.
